When you hear the word cancer, so many questions start to go through your mind.   One question that I instantly knew the answer to was would I be interested in participating in a clinical trial.  Dr Brooks and the amazing team of doctors, nurses and staff at Blue Ridge Cancer Care made me realize I had made the right decision.  All of my questions were answered with patience and compassion and the Clinical Research Coordinator made sure I was completely at ease and aware of anything happening with my care.  The phone calls to see how I was doing, the smiling faces at each appointment and the true feeling of being in caring hands made it a wonderful experience.  The opportunity to not only help with my own health but others going through the same experience makes me recommend a clinical trial to anyone.
