Blue Ridge Cancer Care hosts Fashion Show to benefit Relay for Life

On March 17th, Blue Ridge Cancer Care hosted a Fashion Show to benefit Relay for Life of the New River Valley.
The event, which was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Blacksburg, featured clothing by Ponnie’s Boutique and hair & makeup by Meredith’s Salon. Cupcake Momma provided cupcakes and The Orange Bandana provided a cake with the Blue Ridge Cancer Care logo. Photography for the event was provided by BRCC’s own June McBroom (JuneBug Photography). The event was a huge success and it raised over $1500 for Relay for Life.
The NRV Clinic’s team “Shrek for the Cure” is a Silver Status team in the #1 spot with $3,868.80 raised. One of the NRV patients, who has joined the BRCC team is the #1 fundraiser with $1,200 raised. The NRV team hopes to meet their goal of raising $5,000 for Relay for Life by May 31st.
