Biography

Dr. Vincent Cassidy is a native Floridian but a proud Appalachian transplant. He grew up in the greater Jacksonville area before studying materials science and engineering at the University of Florida. He eventually ventured down to south Florida to complete a dual MD/MBA degree program at the University of Miami. The call of the Swamp brought him back to the University of Florida, where he received his residency training. He served as a Co-Chief in his residency program as well as Vice President of Hospital Relations on the Executive Housestaff Council in his final year. He was nominated into the Gold Humanism Honor Society by his co-residents for his commitment to compassionate care. Upon completion of residency training, he joined Blue Ridge Cancer Care as the practice’s newest radiation oncologist. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.

 

Dr. Cassidy provides radiation oncology services primarily to Blue Ridge Cancer Care's Roanoke, VA and Fairlea, WV locations.

 

Outside of work, Dr. Cassidy is most likely exploring a new hiking trail with his wife and dog.
