Dr. Randal Hess attended Virginia Commonwealth University where he received a B.S. in biology. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where he served as chief resident of the Radiation Oncology Department. He completed his internship in internal medicine as well as residencies in neurology and radiation oncology at the Medical College of Virginia. He is an active member of the American College of Radiation Oncology, American College of Radiology, and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. Dr. Hess is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. His professional interests are intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and gynecologic and urologic brachytherapy. 

Dr. Hess enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
